There are a couple of fave blogs I'd like to share today.

One is the 123 Challenge Blog - where Alicia Redshaw from Scrapbook Fantasies and her team feature a challenge every month with 3 criteria.  Usually a colour, a technique and a word prompt. Alicia is also a design team member here - and we miss her.  She's been super busy with her business, blog and a beautiful new baby :).  We look forward to her return :).

The second, but certainly not the least, is CSI - Color, Stories, Inspiration - where Debbi Tehrani features 3 challenges every month that have 3 criteria to meet - colour palette, evidence (minimum of 2 criteria to incorporate into your layout), and testimony - criteria for journalling.

EARLY fave friday 1 march 2013 - RUN to Scrap Friends blog for this!!

I just had to post this early, I just discovered it today.  A very cool challenge over at Scrap Friends - and that is to post your first layout ever and to tell the story.

Hurry up, there is just a little over 2 days left to post. All you have to do is photograph it, and load it on your blog - the layout is already done, silly!!

Found this yummy link today on the Scrapbooks and Cards Today blog - a journal booklet created by Virginia Nebel.  I had the pleasure of attending one of Virginia's classes in the fall. She is a sweetheart and wonderful designer.

I've been having fun on the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine blog - I was published in their current issue (Fall 2011)! A lot of the ladies from the magazine were at Scrapfest this past weekend - I spent a wonderful weekend in Oshawa Ontario Canada with girlfriends at the event.  I even took a class with Becky Fleck there!!!

I'd like to share a link to a fun and informative Canadian magazine that is offered online - Scrapbooks and Cards Today.  The hard copy magazines are available at Canadian scrapbook stores free of charge - usually the stores will offer them with purchases of $25 or more until supplies run out.  They also published each issue digitally on the website.  You can find the magazine at: Scapbooks and Cards Today

Panicking at the thought that the summer is almost over for the kids - yikes!! Good thing we saved a couple of camping trips until the end of the summer!!!

On a more serious note - I saw this posting over at Julie Tucker-Wolek's blog, and recommend you pop over to Stacy Rodriguez's blog to see how scrappers have been supporting her niece who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.  It is so heart-warming to see how loving scrappers (are there any other kinds) are pulling together for a little girl.
