our first guest designer of 2017 - Monique Fox ...

Monique Fox


I am a FT federal government employee.  I work in DC and live in Maryland.  I have a 13yo handsome son name Christian.  I have a 14yo beautiful cat name Angel.  I am a 47 y/o single woman; never married.  I am American (by birth), ethnic (by design), sweet (by nature) and loved (by God).  I am the founder of Maryland Scrapbooking Divas.  https://www.facebook.com/Maryland-Scrapbooking-Divas-153000828062345/  I am also a published Poet.  I was really into poetry before scrapbooking took over my life.  I am a blogger.  http://living-in-the-positive.blogspot.com/ 

I love scrapbooking events in my life, family, friends and etc.   I love scrapbook manufacturers like Doodlebug, My Minds Eye, Bella Blvd, KaiserCarft, Bobunny, DCWV, Heidi Swapp, Echo Park, Carta Bella, Recollections, Paper Studio, PhotoPlay, Prima, and etc.  I love pretty patterned paper that I can do fussy cutting.  I tend to be drawn to happy colors like green, red, orange, purple, and etc.  I do like pastels also.

I love all things Caribbean.  Maybe I was Caribbean in another life.

I love to inspire others. I hope my gray layout inspires you to come and play along.

guest designer this month Judy W

So thrilled to have with us this month as guest designer Judy W, who is a regular participant in our challenges. We love to see her work, and we were honoured that she agreed to share her work with us this month as guest designer!!!!! Welcome Judy!


A bit about me

Hi, My name is Judy and I live in tropical north Queensland with my husband of 40 plus years. Our 3 sons all have families of their own now and we are so lucky to have 7 gorgeous grandchildren. Apart from scrapbooking I enjoy many different crafts especially working with fibre and fabric. My scrapbooking style is usually quite simple and I often incorporate stitching or fabric. I love to scrap photos of my grandchildren and hope that they will enjoy their albums in years to come.

We have a LOVELY Guest Designer with us this month:


 

I was so excited to be invited to Guest Design for Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge - I love the prompts to get me going!

My name's Michelle Henderson, and I'm a Kiwi living in Christchurch, New Zealand. Our beautiful city was hit by an earthquake a while ago, and scrapping really became my therapy! Our buildings are being rebuilt now, stronger and better than ever, and our people have become so resilient because of it.

I started scrapping when my second daughter was born, and she's now nearly Sweet Sixteen, so I've seen a few style changes over the years...and of course my style has changed and adapted as I go along too. At the moment I find it hard to do a page without some sort of mixed media, I love getting my hands dirty. And the product that always makes it on to my pages at the moment are the Nuvo Crystal Drops - they're so versatile!
